Media Site Transfer
This setting allows you to have the website that displays the photo in your own domain name. It can benefit you greatly because of the large amount of hits your website will accumulate and customers can browse through other pages of your site too.
To set up this function you will require FTP details. FTP is an acronym for File Transfer Protocol. As the name suggests, FTP is used to transfer computer files between a client and server on a computer network.
To connect to an FTP server and upload your Media Retrieval Site to your hosts server you will need the following FTP details:
FTP Address or Hostname: Your website ftp address (usually ftp://yourdomain.com if your URL is http://yourdomain.com).
FTP Username & Password: You selected both of these during account creation.
The URL of the site location (usually http://www.yourdomain.com/mymedia if your URL is http://yourdomain.com and you have named your ftp folder mymedia).
After inputting all this information test connection and click activate to complete the process.
